Healthcare Medicare Sales Representative/Career Agent in Las Vegas, NV
Job Description:
Educates the community focusing on the Medicare Eligible population about SelectHealth's Medicare products; generates enrollment leads and referrals; enrolls seniors in the SelectHealth Medicare Advantage plan; and presents plan information at community-based seminars. Develops and maintains leads, which includes timely reporting and documentation of results for use by management. Conducts activities and sales in full compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements. ScopeReports to the Sales Manager and works closely with the managers and support personnel of other departments to direct Medicare account activities.
Job Essentials
1. Meets Medicare sales and sales development goals as assigned by management. Generates sales as needed to produce and meet expectations.
2. Submits enrollment applications in a complete and timely manner. Follows up as needed to ensure member expectations are being met and applications are processed correctly.
3. Conducts telemarketing activities, both inbound and outbound to respond to inquiries, generates appointments, and follows-up on leads, referrals, and re-marketing opportunities.
4. Responds to leads which include entry of data into the Sales Tracking System. Follow ups on leads providing information and discussing Medicare options.
5. Coordinates and implements strategies in an assigned territory and growing membership through face-to-face sales enrollment meetings, presentations, community and provider education sessions and social service outreach to existing and potential members.
6. Develops and maintains new contacts and/or partnerships in the community.
7. Conducts in-home presentations and community-based presentations and performs other activities in an effort to gain members and maintain and/or established positive relationships with providers, community and faith based organizations.
8. Develops and maintains new and existing provider and community-based organization relationships.
9. Participates in marketing events and exhibits as needed.
10.Identifies and enlists the cooperation of individuals, groups, social service agencies and other community organizations in educational and outreach activities.
11.Supports health and wellness education activities; referral of members to health education programs.
12.Acts as a viable resource to the membership and the community as needed.
13.Identifies cultural issues regarding current and potential members; communicates those issues and concerns to management immediately.
14.In conjunction with Marketing, drafts and reviews procedural and marketing materials for distribution to current and potential members. Provides high quality writing and editing of communications to SelectHealth clients.
15.Identifies problems and solutions to Management related to benefit designs, provider relations, financial / billing, enrollment, compliance, and other employer concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
Utah and Idaho State Health Insurance License as follows: incumbent must have a resident licensure in the state where incumbent resides and a non-residential licensure in the state where incumbent does not reside.

Current Driver's License and maintain an active license for the duration of employment.
Three years experience in the health insurance industry, including two years of direct sales experience in a health insurance environment.

Sales and strong customer service, technical, analytical and project management experience,.

Intermediate computer skills including experience with word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in marketing, business, or a Business related field)
Three years of Medicare Advantage Experience

Working knowledge of Sales Seminar Presenting
- and -
Working knowledge of CMS Marketing Regulations
- and -
Ability to identify, develop and implement process improvements.
